Research

My research interests are in information assurance and security in distributed systems as well as simulation and modeling. I am currently working on a project to model and understand the security requirements and constraints of the next generation of air traffic control and surveillance systems. My past projects have included clustering complex physical interaction networks in order to understand perturbations, learning directed regulatory graphs from gene expression experiments, modeling the historical growth of innovation in aviation, and understanding the space of design and response parameters in product engineering.
